Our practical nursing program (offered in conjunction with our partner institution Fortis School of Nursing) prepares students to pursue a career as a practical nurse. Nurses are absolutely essential to our healthcare system and our practical nursing education program helps students gain the knowledge and hands-on skills they need to pursue entry-level employment as a practical nurse. Through a balanced curriculum, students learn through traditional classroom instruction, small-group learning and simulated and real-world clinical experiences.
Medical assistants can be found working at physicians’ offices, clinics, hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Our medical assisting program’s caring faculty help students gain the knowledge and skills they need to pursue entry-level employment as a medical assistant.
All-State Career School offers two different dental education programs, expanded functions dental assisting and dental hygiene. Both programs offer students opportunities to develop their hands-on skills in an on-site clinical environment. Supervised by credentialed faculty, students will gain real-world experience to prepare them for the working world. As dental practices continue to grow, opportunities for trained hygienists and dental assistants will also grow.
If the skilled trades career field is your preference, All-State Career School offers both welding and HVAC technician training programs. Our experience instructors will guide you through a comprehensive program designed to prepare you for entry-level employment in welding or as an HVAC technician. Skilled welders are needed in a wide variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, high-tech and more. HVAC technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex environmental systems that can be found in virtually every commercial, industrial and residential building.
Truckers keep the world moving and you can begin training to become a commercial driver at All-State Career School. We offer several commercial driving programs each designed to prepare students to pursue entry-level employment and our admissions team can guide you to the program that will help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to achieve your career goals.

The Pennsylvania Board of Nursing has updated the Practical Nursing program approval status of Fortis School of Nursing at All-State Career in Essington, Pennsylvania from initial approval to provisional approval. This notice is pursuant to Section 21.162(b) of the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing regulations.
All-State Career School’s Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Program has been reviewed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry and the program meets the Board’s regulations for the training of EFDAs. Graduates of the Expanded Function Dental Assistant Program are eligible to take the Dental Assisting National Board’s (DANB) Radiation Health and Safety (RHS), and the Infection Control Examination (ICE) Examinations.

INFECTIOUS DISEASES and BLOODBORNE
All-State Career School operates in compliance with OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29CRF 1010.1030). This standard is the facilities policy to protect students and healthcare employees from occupationally acquired exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. Implementation of various methods of exposure control include universal precautions, engineering and work practice controls, personal protective clothing and equipment , housekeeping, vaccinations, training, and documentation. Students understand and assume the risk involved in the clinical portion of Allied Health programs at the Institute, especially the risk of contracting Hepatitis B through human blood spills, Tuberculosis, HIV (AIDS) and other related infectious diseases while participating in the required clinical experiences. All students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program must submit current health form before being allowed participation in clinical assignments, failure to provide written proof of immunizations/titers or a signed waiver, will result in withdrawal from the clinical course, and may result in program dismissal.
The Fortis School of Nursing at All-State Career School Practical Nursing Education Program was granted initial approval by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing on June 6, 2018. All-State Career School is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. ACCSC is an accrediting agency recognized by the U. S. Department of Education. All-State Career School is licensed by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools, Pennsylvania Department of Education as a specialized associate degree and diploma granting institution.

Licensure and Certification
The Dental Hygiene program meets the educational requirements to become a licensed Dental Hygienist in the states of Pennsylvania (PA), Delaware (DE), New Jersey (NJ) and Maryland (MD).
We have not made a determination for the following states*: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, LA, ME, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY.
Students graduating from the Dental Hygiene program are eligible to sit for the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE), the Juris Prudence written exam (Ethics), and a regional clinical examination.
To be eligible for employment as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Pennsylvania, a graduate must successfully pass all applicable exams, both written and clinical, and satisfy all state licensing requirements.

The Practical Nursing program has been approved by and meets the educational requirements for becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the states of Pennsylvania (PA), Delaware (DE), New Jersey (NJ) and Maryland (MD).

Those who successfully graduate from the Practical Nursing program may be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN ®. Approval to take the examination is not automatic. Successfully passing the NCLEX is one of several requirements for licensure.

Graduation does not guarantee eligibility to sit for licensure, certification, or registry exams. Please understand that licensure and certification eligibility can be affected by unlawful events that take place after acceptance into a program. As part of the licensure, certification, and registration application process, arrest and court records of final adjudication for any offense other than a minor traffic violation may be submitted to credentialing agency for review. Applicants who have been convicted of a felony and whose civil rights have not been restored may be considered incomplete by the College until documentation of restoration of civil rights is received.
Licensing and certification requirements vary by state. Students who relocate to another state during their enrollment may or may not satisfy the eligibility criteria to obtain a professional license or certification in that state.
